MONTREAL – NHL scoring leader Sidney Crosby missed the Pittsburgh Penguins game against the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday night due to injury.
Crosby, the NHL scoring leader, didn’t suit up for the contest at the Bell Centre. Forward Matt Cooke also wasn’t scheduled to play for unspecified personal reasons.
Crosby was injured Wednesday night in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, according to the Penguins’ official website. Crosby leads the NHL in scoring with 66 points (32 goals, 34 assists).
