Dallas forwards Brenden Morrow, Jere Lehtinen leave with upper-body injuries

DALLAS – Dallas forwards Brenden Morrow and Jere Lehtinen left the Stars’ game Saturday against the Detroit Red Wings with upper-body injuries.

After the game, Stars coach Marc Crawford said both players were day to day.

“We have to hope they’re fast healers,” Crawford said.

Morrow, a member of Canada’s Olympic team, went to the locker room late in the first period after blocking a shot. He played one shift in the second period before being ruled out for the third period.
