David Van der Gulik scores twice as Ak-Sar-Ben Knights down Marlies 5-2

Chris Harrington’s power-play goal 5:49 into the game put the Marlies ahead, but Van der Gulik scored his first with 1:16 left in the period.

Jay Harrison counted another man-advantage goal a minute into the second for Toronto (15-20-2-3), but that would end the scoring for the Marlies.

Andrei Taratukhin and Warren Peters put the Knights up 3-2 after 40 minutes, with Ryan Donally and Van der Gulik rounding out the scoring in the third period for Omaha (22-13-3).

Knights goalie Curtis McElhinney blocked 21 shots, while Jean-Francois Racine made 18 saves for the Marlies.
