Defenceman Bieksa scores go-ahead goal as Canucks defeat Kings 3-2

Brendan Morrison scored on a power play and Trevor Linden also had a goal for the Northwest Division leaders, who are 19-3-3 since Dec. 26 and 11-1-1 in their last 13 road games. Roberto Luongo made 31 saves. John Zeiler scored his first NHL goal and Lubomir Visnovsky connected on a power play for the Kings.

The Canucks, who came in with the league’s top penalty-killing percentage, were short-handed eight times. It was the 12th time this season they have had to kill eight or more power plays in a game, and their record in those contests is 8-4.
