Devils look for second straight victory

New Jersey (20-11-3) at St. Louis (14-19-3), 8:00 p.m. EST

ST. LOUIS (Ticker) — The New Jersey Devils finally snapped out
of a scoring funk in the first contest of a three-game road

Seeking their second straight victory, the Zach Parise and the
Devils visit the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday.

The Devils, who are 13-4-1 in their past 18 games, trudged
through a two-game losing streak while failing to notch a goal
for a team-record 159 minutes, 18 seconds.

However, Travis Zajac had a goal and two assists and Parise and
Patrik Elias each tallied as New Jersey cruised to a 4-2 victory
over the New York Rangers in a battle of Atlantic Division foes
on Saturday.

Parise now has 39 points in his last 30 games, and has scored in
16 of those.

Scott Clemmensen continued to shine in goal, finishing with 31
saves and improving to 12-5-1. Called into action last month
after an injury to star netminder Martin Brodeur, Clemmensen has
posted an impressive 2.15 goals-against average this season.

St. Louis continues to be plagued by inconsistency and has won
consecutive games just once since a three-game winning streak
from November 21-25.

Brad Boyes has a team-leading 17 goals for the Blues, who have
lost eight of their last 10.
