Ducks defenceman Beauchemin hoists Stanley Cup in Quebec hometown

The 27-year-old received a hero’s welcome as he brought the cup home to Sorel-Tracy, Que., about 100 kilometres northeast of Montreal, the all-news network LCN reported.

“Today marks another moment I will remember for a long time,” he told hundreds of onlookers.

“I’m going to take advantage of every moment today to celebrate.”
