ECHL Victoria Salmon Kings renew affiliation with AHL Manitoba Moose

VICTORIA, B.C. – The ECHL’s Victoria Salmon Kings have renewed their affiliation with the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League for the 2009-2010 season.

It’s the fourth year the two teams have had an agreement.

The Moose are the farm team for the NHL’s Vancouver Canucks.

“We are extremely happy to be renewing our partnership with the Moose,” Mark Morrison, Victoria’s coach and general manager, said in the release. “Through their success and professionalism Manitoba has become one of the elite franchises in all of sports, and we have modelled our organization in their image.
