Funny Hockey Memory: “I like to keep humor going on all the time in the locker room. That’s the type of guy I am. Sometimes you lost a game, you are sad, but you have to remember, life goes on. You can’t think about it for too long. Most importantly you have to have fun. I think everybody knows that. Keep jokes going on.”
Closest Hockey Friend: “Jari Kurri. We played together for seven years. Still keep in touch. We see each other in Finland. Those are great moments.”
Funniest Players Encountered: “Mike Richter, Tony Amonte. Mike Richter is funny and a good friend, too. When I first came to New York he loaned me his car. He was a great help.”
Toughest Competitor: “Claude Lemieux and Cam Neely.”
Most Memorable Goal: “Game 7 overtime against Calgary in 1991 playoffs.”

Favorite Athletes To Watch: “Michael Jordan. John McEnroe. Ivan Lendl. Jimmy Connors. I remember watching Connors play at the U.S. Open. Everybody was behind him. Those are great moments.”
