Ex-NHL player agent David Frost due in court today on fraud charge

He allegedly used the credit card of former St. Louis forward Mike Danton to buy $90 worth of gasoline at a service station in March. Danton, who was once represented by Frost, is serving time in a U.S. prison for attempting to have his former agent killed.

In another case, Danton’s lawyer appeared before a judge on June 19 to say his client had elected to stand trial before a judge on sex-related charges.

Frost faces six counts of sexual exploitation in connection with alleged incidents involving three boys and one girl between 1995 and 2001.

That trial is expected to start in May 2008.
