Florida Panthers, centre Dominic Moore agree to a one-year contract

SUNRISE, Fla. – Centre Dominic Moore signed a one-year contract with the Florida Panthers on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Moore, 29, has 35 goals and 65 assists in 305 career NHL games. Before coming to Florida, Moore played for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Minnesota Wild, Toronto Maple Leafs and Buffalo Sabres.

The Rangers drafted Moore in the third round (95th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.

In a news release, Panthers general manager Randy Sexton called Moore a “smart, talented, hard working player who adds further depth to our centre position.”
