Good move; questionable replacement

I’d like to comment on the firing of Dallas Stars General Manager Doug Armstrong.

I think it was a good decision by the Stars’ ownership to make this move. Armstrong was unable to sign key free agents this past summer and didn’t live up to any of his duties. The question I have is: Why would they replace him with Brett Hull and Les Jackson?

Hull has no management background and is not suitable for this position. He has to be briefed on exactly what to do by owner Tom Hicks before he makes any transactions.

Good luck to the Dallas Stars because they are not going in the right direction.
