Gustavsson makes 24 saves to lead Marlies over Americans 3-1 in first AHL start

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Jonas Gustavsson made 24 saves to backstop the Toronto Marlies to a 3-1 victory over the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League Saturday night.

Touted Toronto prospect Nazem Kadri scored in the first period and Matt Lashoff had the go-ahead goal early in the second while on the power play. Simon Gysbers chipped in with two assists.
