Highlight of the Night: Maple Leafs’ Bernier saves the day

Jonathan Bernier put in his nomination for save of the year, robbing the always dangerous Martin St-Louis of Tampa Bay en route to a Maple Leafs victory in Toronto.

With his team clinging to a one-goal lead late in the third period, Toronto’s Jonathan Bernier stretched out to make an incredible save on Tampa’s Martin St-Louis to preserve a 3-2 win.

Bernier ended the night with 40 saves and currently boasts a robust .926 save percentage for the Buds.
