Hockey Hall of Fame considering rule change that would allow women’s induction

Is the Hockey Hall of Fame ready to allow women to be inducted?

According to a story that appeared in Friday’s Toronto Star, the Hall is re-writing its bylaws to give women a chance to enter the shrine along with their male counterparts.

The bylaws would have to be approved in March for the change to take place.

“There has been a lot of progress in terms of discussing whether or not changes to our bylaws were required to create fair conditions,” Jeff Denomme, president of the HHOF, told the Star. “These things don’t happen overnight.
