Hunter’s game-winner draws Rochester even with Hamilton after 4-3 victory

The victory moved the Americans (40-26-1-0) into a second-place tie with the Bulldogs (37-24-3-4) in the North Division, eight points back of the Manitoba Moose. Rochester has won two straight while Hamilton has dropped its last two.

Stefan Meyer led the Rochester attack with a goal and an assist, while Marek Zagrapan and Patrick Kaleta also had goals for the Americans. Mark Mancari added two assists, while Adam Dennis stopped 25 shots to earn the win in goal.

Jonathan Ferland, Matt D’Agostini and Francis Lemieux answered for the Bulldogs, who spoiled a 24-save performance from Philippe Sauve.
