Hurricanes recall Ryan Bayda with Cory Stillman out with injury

Hurricanes left-winger Cory Stillman, who missed the first two months of the season after shoulder surgery last August, is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Bayda has six goals and seven assists for 13 points in 16 games with Albany of the American Hockey League this season. The 26-year-old Saskatoon native recorded one goal and one assist in five games with the Hurricanes last October.

Stillman has one goal and seven assists for eight points in 11 games this season. The 33-year-old from Peterborough, Ont., had 76 points in 72 games last season.

He also had 26 points in 25 playoff games last spring and became only the sixth player in NHL history to win the Cup in two straight seasons with different teams. He played for Tampa Bay in 2004.
