Iginla, Flames host rival Canucks

CALGARY, Alberta (Ticker) — Captain Jarome Iginla and the
Calgary Flames will make an important stop at Pengrowth
Saddledome before heading back on the road.

Iginla will attempt to end a seven-game goal drought as the
Flames host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday in a battle of
Northwest Division rivals.

Calgary, which went 2-0-1 over its three-game road swing, will
play nine of its next 12 games away from home after this one.
The division-leading Flames currently hold a nine-point
advantage over the Canucks in the standings.

The 31-year-old Iginla, who leads the team with 59 points this
season, was not among the 12 Calgary players to find the
scoresheet during Saturday’s 7-5 triumph over the Phoenix

Vancouver has won five of its previous six contests following a
season-worst, eight-game losing streak.

The Canucks, who are opening a four-game road trip, are coming
off a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday. Henrik
and Daniel Sedin each recorded a goal and an assist in that one.
