On June 8th hockey lost one of its biggest fans.
Nathan Marsters, a Los Angeles Kings draft pick in 2000, was taken at the young age of 29. As someone who grew up splitting time between the pipes with Nathan in Grimsby rep hockey, I know how much he loved the game.
He was a fierce competitor who never gave up, but was always quick to smile and crack a joke. Having recently returned home from playing in Europe he leaves behind not just friends and family, but an enduring memory of a great person.
On behalf of those who knew you and the game you loved, we’ll miss you Nate.
Always remembered, never forgotten.
