Jason Arnott in Nashville Predators’ lineup after on-ice collision

TAMPA, Fla. – Nashville captain Jason Arnott was in the starting lineup Friday night for the Predators’ game against Tampa Bay, just four days after a scary on-ice collision that resulted in a neck strain.

Arnott was taken off the ice on a stretcher Monday night after he and San Jose’s Joe Pavelski collided and crashed into the net as they charged toward the puck. Arnott was pushed headfirst into Sharks goalie Brian Boucher and was carried off after lying motionless on the ice for several minutes.
