Jason Krog scored twice to help Chicago trounce Manitoba 5-2

Jordan LaVallee, Colin Stuart and Darren Haydar, his 38th of the season, scored one goal apiece for Chicago, with Mark Popovic and Cory Larose each adding two assists. Nathan Smith counted for both of Manitoba’s markers, to collect his 18th and 19th on the season.

Fred Brathwaite was solid in net for the Wolves, stopping 26 shots, while Drew MacIntyre took the loss for the Moose with a 31-save performance.

The Moose sit atop the North Division at 41-20-7-5, while Chicago remains atop the West Divison with a 42-23-2-6 record.
