Lightning looking to turn around woes vs. Flyers

PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) — The Tampa Bay Lightning haven’t won on
the road since the last time they were in the “City of Brotherly

Captain Vincent Lecavalier and the Lightning will try to end a
four-game winless streak Tuesday when they visit the
Philadelphia Flyers.

Tampa Bay has gone just 1-3-3 since Rick Tocchet replaced Barry
Melrose behind the bench, failing to win away from the St. Pete
Times Forum over that stretch. The Lightning’s last win on the
road was at Philadelphia on November 8.

Since that 2-1 triumph, Tampa Bay has posted just one win in ten
games and made a debatable coaching change.

Lecavalier, who was rumored to be instrumental in Melrose’s
departure after just 16 games, leads the club with 10 goals and
20 points on the season.

The streaky Flyers have dropped back-to-back contests (one in
overtime) after winning six games in a row.

Captain Mike Richards had a pair of goals Saturday, but
Philadelphia still suffered a 4-2 setback to the Toronto Maple
