I agree 100 percent with Adam Proteau’s column on the idea that Colin Campbell’s position as league disciplinarian should have a three-year term limit.
I understand it is an extremely hard job, comparable to the president of a country; no matter what you do, you will be criticized by millions of people.
But for this reason, there should be a term limit – as there is in politics.
As the famous saying goes, “politicians are just like diapers; they should be changed often, and for the same reason.”
Replacing the word politicians with director of hockey operations works just as well.
