Locke’s six-point night powers Bulldogs to 8-4 win over Americans

HAMILTON – Corey Locke had three goals and three assists and the Hamilton Bulldogs recovered from a 4-1 deficit and defeated the Rochester Americans 8-4 in American Hockey League action Wednesday.

Jonathan Ferland added two goals and two assists for the Bulldogs (35-32-3-7), while Ajay Baines, Mathieu Biron and Brett Engelhardt also scored.

Jordan Henry, Stefan Meyer, Martin Lojek and Clarke MacArthur replied for the AMericans.

Cedrick Desjardins made 19 saves for Hamilton while Adam Dennis stopped 19 shots for Rochester.
