The Bulldogs jumped out to a 3-0 lead before the Ottawa Senators’ top affiliate attempted a rally with Mapletoft’s and Hamel’s quick goals in the third period.

But that was as close as the Senators would get.

Yann Danis stopped 28 of 30 shots in the Bulldogs win, while Jeff Glass made 26 saves on 29 shots for the Senators.
