Michael Grabner scores late as Manitoba hangs on to beat Rochester 4-3

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Michael Grabner scored with less than five minutes left as the Manitoba Moose held off the Rochester Americans 4-3 in American Hockey League action Friday.

Up 3-2, Grabner extended his goal-scoring streak to five consecutive games when he doubled Manitoba’s lead at 15:46 in the third. It turned out to be a fortunate goal as Americans centre Chris Taylor scored at 17:08, bringing Rochester to a one-goal deficit they wouldn’t close.
