Nathan MacKinnon is an Unholy Terror

The Calder Trophy favorite wrecked Minnesota’s defense with an incredible goal to get Colorado on the board as the Avs looked to put distance between themselves and the Wild.

Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon is not afraid of the playoffs. He notched three assists in his post-season debut, then followed it up with this gem from Game 2:

Lord have mercy on Minnesota right now.

MacKinnon isn’t new to pressure; as a rookie in the Quebec League, he helped Halifax erase a 3-0 deficit in a series against the Quebec Remparts, winning in seven games over current Avs coach Patrick Roy. Last year in the Memorial Cup, MacKinnon had a hat trick against buddy Seth Jones and Portland in the round robin and again in the final, clinching the championship for Halifax.
