NHL’s San Jose Sharks re-sign defenceman Kent Huskins to 2-year deal

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Defenceman Kent Huskins has re-signed with the San Jose Sharks, agreeing to a two-year deal to stay with a team for which he still hasn’t played a game.

The Sharks acquired Huskins from the Anaheim Ducks along with Travis Moen on March 4, but Huskins still was recovering from a broken foot. He participated in practices with the Sharks during the season’s final weeks, but didn’t play in San Jose’s first-round playoff ouster by Anaheim.
