Ovechkin returns as Caps visit Senators

Washington (5-4-1) at Ottawa (4-5-2), 7:30 p.m. EST

OTTAWA (Ticker) — The Washington Capitals will have superstar
Alex Ovechkin back Tuesday when they visit the Ottawa Senators.

The reigning Art Ross, Maurice Richard and Hart Trophy winner,
Ovechkin missed the last two games as he visited his ailing
grandfather in Russia.

Washington went 1-1 in his absence and is coming off a 5-0
setback at Buffalo on Saturday.

Ovechkin has only recorded two goals and three assists through
his first eight games this season, but the left wing should love
to see the Senators.

season, totaling 22 goals in the victories.
