Parise, Devils hope to keep rolling vs. woeful Islanders

UNIONDALE, New York (Ticker) — All-Star Zach Parise and the New
Jersey Devils will try to continue their winning ways against
the NHL’s worst team.

Parise looks to lead the Devils to their fifth win in six games
when they visit the lowly New York Islanders on Saturday in a
battle of Atlantic Division rivals.

New Jersey, which has won 14 of its previous 17 contests, did

Parise also registered his team-leading 35th goal of the season
in the third period and Brian Rolston scored in regulation for
New Jersey, which faced a two-goal deficit after the opening

The Islanders are hoping to avoid their third straight loss
following Thursday’s 6-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes.

Since its season-high four-game winning streak, New York has
posted a 1-6-1 record over its last eight contests.
