Penguins cling to life, roll over Wolves 5-1 in Game 5 of the Calder Cup

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Penguins refuse to die.

Ben Lovejoy scored the winner as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins clobbered the Chicago Wolves 5-1 in Game 5 of the Calder Cup.

Dave Gove, Connor James, Mark Ardelan and Luca Caputi also scored for the Penguins who clawed back to one game short of Chicago. The Wolves lead the series 3-2.

Bryan Little scored the Wolves only goal.

Penguins goalie John Curry made 33 saves for the win while Ondrej Pavelec stopped 26 shots at the other end.

The Wolves can win it on home ice when Game 6 goes Tuesday in Chicago.
