GLENDALE, Ariz. – Phoenix Coyotes forward Peter Mueller, who has missed the past seven games with a concussion, was activated from injured reserve Friday.
The 20-year-old Mueller, sidelined since Jan. 29, still ranks third on the Coyotes in scoring with 12 goals and 18 assists in 48 games. He had 22 goals and 32 assists in 81 games as a rookie last season with Phoenix. In a corresponding move, the team assigned forward Jeff Hoggan to its AHL affiliate in San Antonio.
Hoggan had one assist in four games with the Coyotes.
Before being called up from San Antonio, Hoggan had 18 goals and 10 assists in 48 games for the Rampage.
