Player of the Week – May 5

The Hockey News player of the week for the period of April 28 to May 4 is Philadelphia Flyers forward R.J. Umberger.

Capable of playing both wing and center, Umberger was dangerous from everywhere in Round 2 versus Montreal.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pounder scored five goals over the final three games – all wins – of Philly’s five-game triumph over the Habs.
