Ponikarovsky hurt in practice; Leafs take Ondrus and Suglobov to Chicago

The left-winger is unlikely to be available for a game in Chicago on Friday night.

Kyle Wellwood didn’t practice because he has a groin injury but the forward went to Chicago with his teammates, although it is uncertain that he’ll play.

Ben Ondrus and Alex Suglobov were recalled from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies to be available against the Blackhawks.
