Predators open road trip at Canucks

Nashville (6-4-1) at Vancouver (6-6-0), 10:00 p.m. EST

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) — The Nashville Predators
begin a six-game road trip Tuesday when they visit the Vancouver
Canucks.

The road hasn’t been kind to the Predators, who are 1-3-1 away
from home this season.

Nashville has won its last two games, including a 3-2 shootout
victory over Florida on Saturday.

Rookie goaltender Pekka Rinne has been in net for both
victories. The 26-year-old stopped 24 shots in the most recent
win and denied Florida on all three chances during the bonus
format. He now has three career victories in six games.

Vancouver lost the first game of a six-game homestand, dropping
a 3-2 decision to Detroit on Sunday.

The Canucks had killed off the first 12 power plays they faced
at home before allowing three tallies while the Red Wings were
on the man advantage.

Nashville won the three of the four meetings between the teams
last season.
