Pronger returns against Senators just five weeks after breaking foot

PHILADELPHIA – Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Chris Pronger is back in the lineup against the Ottawa Senators five weeks after breaking his right foot.

Pronger started Thursday night’s game and was paired with Matt Carle.

Pronger, 36, the 2000 NHL MVP with St. Louis, was injured Dec. 15 against Montreal and missed 13 games. He had four goals and 15 points in 31 games.
