Pyatt highly doubtful with upper-body injury, Darche to play in Game 5 for Habs

PHILADELPHIA – Forward Tom Pyatt, nursing an upper-body injury, is highly unlikely to play for the Montreal Canadiens in Game 5 of the NHL Eastern Conference final.

Pyatt did not take part in the team’s game-day skate on Monday. Coach Jacques Martin said it will be a ”game-time decision” whether he will play. Pyatt missed the third period of Game 4 on Saturday in Montreal.

Mathieu Darche will play after sitting out two games and skated in Pyatt’s spot on a line with centre Glen Metropolit.

Also, defenceman Josh Gorges said he will probably not wear ankle guards after one came loose in Game 4 and contributed to a breakaway goal by Philadelphia’s Claude Giroux.

The Flyers have a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series.
