Christensen, who has spent time this season on the Rangers’ top line alongside Marian Gaborik, sustained a second-degree sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee during New York’s 3-1 victory at New Jersey on Monday night. The injury was revealed in an MRI on Tuesday.
