San Jose Sharks forward Ryane Clowe named NHL’s first star of the week

NEW YORK, N.Y. – San Jose Sharks winger Ryane Clowe, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury and Columbus Blue Jackets winger Rick Nash are the NHL’s three stars of the week.

Clowe earned first star honours after leading all scorers last week with three goals and five assists as the Sharks won three of four games.

Fleury is the second star after posting a 3-0-0 record, 1.67 goals-against average and .944 save percentage to help the Penguins extend their winning streak to 12 games last week.

Nash recorded three goals and three assists in three games to capture third star honours.
