Stars defenceman Goligoski goes to injured list after breaking thumb

DALLAS – The Dallas Stars have placed defenceman Alex Goligoski on injured reserve with a broken thumb.

The team announced the move Tuesday, four days after Goligoski was injured in a 3-1 loss at Pittsburgh. There was no immediate word on how long he’ll be out, but he won’t play Tuesday night against Florida.
