Stars seek to end five-game skid vs. Sharks

Dallas (29-26-7) at San Jose (42-10-9), 10:30 pm EST

SAN JOSE, California (Ticker) — Following a disastrous stretch
at home, the Dallas Stars will hope to turn around their woes on
a trip through California.

The Stars will attempt to snap a five-game losing streak when
they visit the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday in a rematch of a 2008
Western Conference quarterfinal matchup.

Dallas, which eliminated the Sharks in the first round of last
season’s playoffs, have fallen to 11th place in the West because
of its recent struggles.

The Stars, who will also visit Los Angeles and Anaheim, are
coming off a dreadful homestand, which included a 1-0 loss to
San Jose. Loui Eriksson scored the lone goal during Sunday’s
4-1 setback to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
