Subban has goal, two assists in Hamilton’s 4-1 victory over Hartford

HARTFORD, Conn. – P.K. Subban scored a goal and had two assists and Curtis Sanford had 25 saves to lead the Hamilton Bulldogs to a 4-1 road victory over the Hartford Wolf Pack on Saturday night in the AHL.

Mathieu Carle opened the scoring for Hamilton (18-7-5), putting away his fifth of the year at 5:09 of the second.

Brodie Dupont tied it up for the Wolf Pack three minutes later, but the Bulldogs capitalized on a power play at 10:38 to take a 2-1 lead with a goal from David Desharnais, assisted by Subban.

Subban made it 3-1 on the power play two minutes later and Ryan White finished it off at 15:09 in the third period on a feed from Subban.

Steve Valiquette stopped 30 of 34 shots for Hartford (15-13-4).
