Sunday’s NHL all-star game:

At Raleigh, N.C., 4 p.m. ET

The NHL changed the format this year for its annual showcase game. Teams were chosen in a fantasy draft with Eric Staal and Nicklas Lidstrom picking their sides.

Team Staal—Staal captains the host Hurricanes so his team will be the hometown favourites. He selected teammate and Stanley Cup champion goalie Cam Ward with the first overall pick, and has another Hurricanes player in rookie Jeff Skinner. Staal has the league’s No. 2 and 3 scorers this season in Daniel Sedin and Ryan Kesler.
