Edmonton at Colorado, 3 p.m. ET

Oilers—Another difficult season comes to an end for Edmonton (25-45-11). The Oilers are guaranteed to finish last in the league for the second straight year. That leaves them pondering the next NHL draft, and the possibility of another No. 1 pick.

Avalanche—Colorado (29-44-8) looks to end a dismal season with a win at home. The Avalanche have lost four straight and are guaranteed to finish second-last in the league, just ahead of Edmonton. It’s also the final game for Avs captain Adam Foote. He’s retiring after a 19-year career.
