The handshake tradition

Brodeur not shaking Avery’s hand? Come on, Marty.

This is someone who I thought was one of the classiest guys in the NHL, yet I lost a lot of respect for him after watching this. Although Avery did something stupid, he did not break any rules; he was simply trying to help his team win.

Marty, unless Avery killed one of your teammates, you need to suck up what happened and not be a sore loser.

With this one action, Brodeur has lost the respect of many people who cherish the great hockey tradition that is the handshake at the end of a playoff series.
