– Eric Staal had a three-point night and Cory Stillman scored the winner late in the third.

Ottawa 5, Buffalo 3
– Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson had two points each and Dany Heatley scored the game-winner with less than five minutes in the third period.

Chicago 1, Anaheim 2
– Cory Perry had a two-point night and Jonas Hiller stopped 20 shots.
