In 10 contests, Weber collected four goals and seven helpers with a plus-5 rating.
Derek Dorsett, RW, Columbus Blue Jackets
2008/11/04: With veteran Fredrik Modin back in action for the Columbus Blue Jackets, the club has assigned fourth liner Derek Dorsett back to the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch. INTEL: Dorsett should return to the NHL at some point this season, mainly since the Jackets could use his energy and toughness.
Milan Hejduk, RW, Colorado Avalanche
2008/11/04: Avalanche forward Milan Hejduk notched his eighth goal of the year in Monday’s 6-2 loss to the Blackhawks. After failing to score in four consecutive games, Hejduk has lit the lamp in two straight outings.
Andrew Ladd, LW, Chicago Blackhawks
2008/11/04: Chicago’s Andrew Ladd chipped in a pair of goals and added a helper in Monday’s 6-2 victory over the Avalanche. Monday night was an offensive explosion for Ladd after he had totaled just one goal and one assist through his first 11 contests of the year.

2008/11/04: With an assist on Ben Guite’s first-period goal in Monday’s 6-2 loss to Chicago, Colorado’s Adam Foote notched his 181st assist in an Avalanche uniform. That ties him with Sandis Ozolinsh for the franchise record for defensemen.
Mike Comrie, C, New York Islanders

2008/11/03: Islanders defenseman Chris Campoli scored a pair of goals, including the overtime-winner in Monday’s 4-3 win over the Blue Jackets. They were the first two goals of the season for a guy who has had trouble with shoulder injuries over the past year.

2008/11/03: Defensive stalwart Robyn Regehr, who missed Sunday’s game against the Ducks because of a lower body injury (knee) suffered against the Kings a day earlier, may be out of the lineup for the next 10-14 days. The Flames haven’t released an official statement as of yet, but Regehr apparently had his knee looked at on Monday. Rookie Adam Pardy dressed against the Ducks in Regehr’s absence, while Dion Phaneuf played almost 35 minutes!
