TORONTO – Nikoali Kulemin will be back with the Toronto Maple Leafs next season.
The forward signed a US$4.7-million, two-year deal with the team on Friday.
Kulemin was a restricted free agent and had been in negotiations with the Leafs since the season ended.
The 23-year-old has spent the two seasons in the NHL, registering 16 goals and 36 points in 78 games last year.
The Russian was selected by Toronto in the second round of the 2006 draft.
