New York Islanders management can’t be happy with the way the 2011-12 campaign went for the team, but they have to be impressed with Matt Moulson’s consistency.
The 28-year-old left winger has set new career highs in goals (32), assists (29) and points (61). This marks the third straight season Moulson has hit the 30-goal plateau since becoming a full-time NHLer with the Islanders in 2009-10.
THN’s Adam Proteau caught up with the Cornell University grad to discuss his consistency over the past three seasons, being drafted higher in the National Lacrosse League than the National Hockey League, his membership in the secretive Quill and Dagger society and more.
