VIDEO: Taylor Hall set to pilot Spitfires to second straight Memorial Cup

Taylor Hall has done nothing but win at every level and the Windsor Spitfires are hoping he can pilot their team to back-to-back Memorial Cup championships.

After notching 17 goals and 35 points to lead the Ontario League in playoff scoring, he has continued to make the case that he should be the No. 1 selection in the 2010 NHL draft.

The Kingston, Ont. native finished the year tied with his main competition for that distinction, Tyler Seguin, in league scoring with 106 points. However, it is Hall’s playoff performance that will likely give him an edge heading into the draft.

And as Spitfires coach Bob Boughner explains, it is not Hall’s offensive abilities that place him ahead of all other draft eligible players, but rather his defensive game. Rory Boylen spoke with Hall as he helped the Spitfires wrap up their second consecutive OHL Championship.
