Violence doesn’t curb violence

I can’t believe that some NHL GMs are actually in favor of keeping fighting in the game.

One even ludicrously said “fighting helps control violence by offering a way to settle disputes.” That is like saying wars help reduce violence. With such factors in play as hard ice, hockey sticks and sharp skates, a player could get seriously hurt while fighting.

As a result, it’s a “no-brainer.” Fighting should be banned.
